Microphone
To allow microphone permissions with Google Chrome:
→ On Desktop/Laptop (Windows/Mac/Linux):
Open Google Chrome and navigate to the website you want to grant microphone access to.
Click the padlock icon in the address bar, located to the left of the website URL.
In the dropdown menu, find the Microphone option.
If it’s set to "Block," click the dropdown menu and select Allow.
Refresh the page (press F5 or click the reload button in the address bar).
Alternatively, you can manage microphone permissions for all websites:
Open Chrome and go to the settings menu by clicking the three dots (top-right corner) and selecting Settings.
Scroll down and click Privacy and Security.
Select Site Settings.
Under the Content section, click Microphone.
Toggle the setting so Sites can ask to use your microphone or choose to block specific sites if necessary.
To allow microphone permissions for Microsoft Edge, follow these steps:
→ On Desktop/Laptop (Windows/Mac/Linux):
Open Microsoft Edge and navigate to the website where you want to grant microphone access.
When the website requests microphone access, a pop-up should appear at the top of the page, asking for permission. You can click ‘Allow’ to grant permission.
If you’ve previously blocked it or need to check/change the settings:
Click the padlock icon in the address bar (next to the website URL).
In the dropdown menu, locate the Microphone option.
Change the setting to Allow from Block (or any other option).
Refresh the page by pressing F5 or clicking the reload button to ensure the new permissions take effect.
Alternatively, you can adjust microphone permissions for all websites:
Open Edge and click the three dots (menu icon) in the top-right corner.
Go to Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Scroll down to ‘All Permissions’ and click on ‘Microphone’.
Under ‘Microphone’, you can toggle the setting for websites to Ask before accessing or Block.
You can also review and manage specific websites that have requested microphone access under the ‘Allow’ and ‘Block’ sections.
