Regenerating Section
Regenerate one section, keep the rest..
Nabla now offers single section note regeneration so you no longer have to regenerate an entire note to fix one part.
Pick the single section that missed the mark, regenerate just that section, and everything you have already reviewed or edited stays exactly as it is.
How it works:
Open the note and find the section you want to change.
Hover over the section title to reveal feature icons, click the 3 vertical dots and choose Regenerate section from that section's options.
Nabla reprocesses the transcript for that section only, applying your current formatting settings and pulling in any detail the first pass missed.
Review the result.
Not better? Select Undo to restore the previous version of that section.
When to use:
Regenerate a section -
One section is too brief, too verbose, or missing a detail you discussed
The rest of the note is already reviewed or manually edited and you do not want to redo it
A single section did not follow your formatting preference (e.g. bullets vs. prose)
Regenerate the entire note -
Several sections need work, or the note as a whole is off
You have just updated your formatting settings and want them applied throughout
You want a clean second pass over the full transcript
Good to know
Regeneration always works from the original transcript. There is no need to re-record or re-dictate.
Every regeneration - section or full note - can be reverted to the previous content, so it is safe to try. Nothing is lost while you are comparing versions.
You can regenerate a section more than once, and regenerate different sections independently.
Full-note regeneration is still there. Use it when the overall structure, length, or formatting of the note is not correct.
