Nabla is available on mobile and desktop devices. This article focuses on how to access Nabla on desktop: using the web app in a browser or using the Chrome extension.

Please note: If your organization is integrated with Nabla, your sign-in steps might differ. Please refer to the documentation provided by your organization for specific instructions.

Nabla Chrome Extension

If you're conducting virtual encounters via Google Chrome, the Nabla Chrome extension enhances accessibility by providing a small pop-up window for Nabla on top of your session.

How to Access

  1. Visit the Nabla Chrome Extension page or type nabla.com/chrome-web-store directly into Chrome.

  2. Click Add to Chrome.

  3. Confirm by clicking Add Extension.

  4. View your installed Chrome extensions by clicking the puzzle piece icon in the top-right corner of your browser.

  5. Pin the Nabla extension for easy access by clicking the pin icon next to it.

  6. Once pinned, follow the same sign-in process outlined above to access Nabla.

Usage Scenarios

You can use the Nabla on you desktop in the following situations:

  • In-person encounters

  • Virtual encounters: When using video conferencing tools in a web browser (e.g., Zoom in Safari or Chrome), you can run Nabla in another browser tab alongside the video call. If you're using Google Chrome, we recommend using the Nabla Chrome extension.

Please note: Nabla does not work during virtual encounters performed in external apps like Zoom. In these cases, we recommend using the Nabla mobile web app and conducting the encounter using your desktop speaker.
