📝 Customizing your notes with instructions

Edited

Custom instructions allow you to tailor the notes generated by Nabla to suit your preferences. You can apply custom instructions globally (to all sections of a template) or to specific sections of a template.

Here are a few examples:

  • Instruction per section

    • In the HPI or Subjective section: "Include a Review of Systems organized by organ system at the end."

    • In the Plan section: "Include details on treatment recommendations, potential side effects and any specific patient concerns mentioned

  • Global instruction: "Style should be extremely concise, using nominal and/or subject-less, very short sentences."

How to add custom instructions

1. Test your instructions

  • Use the Magic Edit feature to experiment and refine the custom instructions that best achieve your desired note format.
